Default Brembro Rotors and Hawk Brake Pads

I need to replace my rotors and brake pads on my 96 SE. Would the brembro rotors with hawk brake pads be a good combo ? Is that all i would need ? I plan on getting the rotors from 88rotor our sponsor and the hawkpads from our other sponsor

autozone blanks (about $13 each) here on Hawk HPS pads, a great combo, but now I wish i had gone with something slightly more aggressive. But the bite is wonderful on the HPS when they are warmed up a bit.

Perhaps the Carbotech bobcat or panther+, or Cobalt GT Sports, or the Hawk HP+.

Don't waste your time or money on slotted or drilled rotors.

Quick question - don't mean to thread-jack.....

How the hell do you stop brake dust? Its such a pain in the ***. I've always believed in OEM brake pads and blank rotors.......the brake dusts just sucks.

I never heard of a way to stop brake dust, but lookin to some pads that don't emit alot of brake dust. I'm actually installing some new rotors and pads right now, Cobalt Friction GT Sports, thy are suppose to be great pads, and have minimal dust. I'll let you know how that goes in a few days if you want.

Thanks. I'd appreciate that. I just ordered some more oem brake pads. Leaving to pick them up in a few....but, if you can find some, that would be great. I'm not changing my front brakes until I buy more rotors.

Autozone (Duralast) blank rotors, Hawk HPS pads and Goodridge steel braided brake lines.
