brake light stays on

i have a 5th gen prelude and recently i noticed that the brake light turns on and stays on randomnly....its not all the time but its just annoying...i try to just push the e-brake as far down as possible but that doesnt even work...any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks

Just get in there and adjust the switch for the brake light on your e-brake...then if that doesn't fix it you may have a problem.

i've seen the float switch on the brake fluid tank cause that because it was going bad and because you are low on brake fluid. i've also seen an e-brake so out of adjustment and with a frozen cable that kept the lever from returning all the way down. both pretty easy to fix.
