Well three of them, the check engine light has never come on (im sure it should have come on for something by now!), the seatbelt warning light, and the one that tells your trunk is open. I know that the seatbelt plugin things are unplugged, and the rear hatch door was replaced. How can I test the check engine light? and how could i get the the hatch one to work?

 

When you turn your car onto the on postistion, like when you let your fuel pump prime, you will see your seatbelt light, your CEL, and a few other lights turn on. If they dont turn on then you may need to pull out your cluster and switch the bulbs if they are bad... So go and do that now! LOL

Yea just take it out and check the bulbs. I have some bulbs for sale if you need any. They should fit 96-00 civic clusters (not including the si cluster).

 

ok, so i pulled the cluster out, there was now cel, so i took the light socket and light out of my lx and i put it in there. So now when I turn the key to on the CEL comes on while the fuel pump is priming, then goes off when is finished. So ive got one down and two to go. What the heck do i do for the others???

 

do you really need the seatbelt and trunk arning lights?

 

Does any one know which wire goes to the switch for the hatch? Like what color is it and how can i get to it?

I'd double ckeck the fuses and relays while you're at it.
