Default My GSR set-up.

Ok I Already got some parts for my 95 GSR

I want to know if I'm going to have any problems with this:

01 ITR cams
Skunk2 cam gears
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Hondata I.M gasket

Other than this my motor is all stock other than a K&N drop-in.
Would I have any problems with my ecu, or my vtec engaging too early due to the manifold. And what can I do or get. Im planning on also ordering a B&M fpr, and Walbro fuel pump 255, and the password jdm intake. But what else would I need?

Any Help would be appreciated.

Your going to need something to tune with. A piggy back would be fine, such as a VAFC.

Other than that, looks good. What kind of exhaust setup do you have?

Skip out on the FPR and fuel pump and invest in a catback exhaust.

You don't need to modify your fuel system for basic bolt-ons.

I agree with not going with the fuel pump, but he should still get the adjustable FPR as you need it to accurately tune with the piggyback.

255lph walboro is not needed...if you really want to then 190lph should be fine but i would stick to factory pump for you are not making that high of a power....invest into header and exhaust so that your engine can breathe better, possibly a good set of 310cc injectors, and like always I recommend hondata rather then vafc.....

the reason why I was going for the 255 fuel pump was because Im going to be turboing my car by next fall thats coming.

but i dont think im ginna be getting a header, a cat yea ill be getting the ws2 cat back. other than that i want for my engine to be prepped for the boost.

oh yea and i jut got in all my oem gaskets.

If you ware going to turbo the car, I would think about just leaving the stock gsr cams in there. Also reconsider the IM that you are using. The skunk2 design was really meant for NA applications.

The ws2 cat-back will really be too small for turbo. You should atleast have 2.5", 3" being optimal IMO.

Also, don't get the piggyback as I suggested before if you are going turbo, get a standalone right away.

if your planning on boosting then get a better manifold such as jg edelbrock, 3" custome exhaust, big injectors, 255 fuel pump, and the rest of your turbo setup....

and if you get an intake... sell me your stock tube.
I agree with the other guys- if your going turbo, don't worry about really much if any of this stuff right now. Stock cams, fatter (~70mm) exhaust, don't get a header...

I didn't find any. Do you realize that the WS muffler is chambered? You want a straight through design for a turbo setup.

I would go ahead with the ITR cams. I am running CTR cams with my boosted setup and it does make a difference.

you will want to run the ITR valve springs as well with the cams.... If you can't find a used set just go buy a set of new ITR dual intake springs and then take your stock gsr dual intake springs and install them on the exhaust as they are the same part # and color code.

once you do the camshaft upgrade I'd recommend you do valvetrain and spring upgrade at the SAME TIME.

So if he's planning on putting on a turbo soon, he would be better off not getting the Skunk2 cam gears? Wouldn't getting the cam gears help give more power?<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 01blackgsr &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

I didn't say cam GEARS, just the actual camshafts. The cam gears will be needed for tuning.

Cam gears are useless unless they are dialed in on a dyno. Just installing them and leaving them at zero won't give you any power gains whatsoever.
