Water Injection on Roots blower?

Water Injection on Roots blower?
Would it be ok to use a water injection system before the inlet on the roots blower like a jackson racing system? Would it still provide cooling benifits, or would it present any dangers for damage to the supercharger? Any thoughts or experiance that could be shared would be greatly appreciated.
