which distibutor??

Default which distibutor??

88 civic hatch dx with d16z6 head which distibutor do i use if i use the one off the d16z6 engine do i have to modify the harness or plug?? please help

You use the z6 distributor. I believed its TD-42U. Not 100% on that. And you will want to convert to mpfi and obd-1 with a p28 ecu. You will have to modify the distributor plug and engine harness.

ok now if i use the origional distributor will it work if i drill the top hole on the disributor and use only one bolt to hold it just tighten the **** out of it i just need this to work for a little while like for 2 months or so?
the reason why im asking if i could do that instead is cause we are on a budget and already bought the head timing pulley and timing belt (which also didnt fit) so we are just about out of cash

i also need to know which timing belt am i going to need since i bought the wrong one i got the one for the 88 civicdx to big though so now which one??

Use the D16z6 belt..

It's to long..

And actually don't get the d16z6 timing belt,get the d16y8..It's same as the d16z6 but alot cheaper..

today i bought the y8 timing belt and the teeth are to close together so the belt doesnt even go on at all
