Do you want low compression or high with a supercharger???

Default Re: Supercharger? (Turbohatch)

As a rule, forced induction will require lower compression ratios than normally-aspirated applications. It does of course depend on how much boost you're planning on making, whether or not you're using laughing gas (NO2), and a host of other interesting variables. Most off-the-shelf supercharger systems I've seen (JRSC, Vortech) don't build enough boost out of the box to make changing pistons necessary.
