Signal Light Help!
Car year and model would help.
But all of 90-97 accords use 1156 bulbs (single fillament bulbs), you can snip your current sockets out and hook up 4th gen civic sockets that use 1157 bulbs which are dual fillament. The only thing you have to hook up is the green wire to the side socket on the "always on" or maybe the ground, I forget
... and hook up the other wires normally on your old wires.
If that makes sense.

i remember when we tapped my civic bumper lights to stay on with the running lights using the turn signals as a source...again, one wire is positive and the others the ground
Not sure which one...
.ken...does the dual fillament bulbs appear brighter? Curious about doing this...

Well it's slightly dimmer than the 1156 bulb when on but when the signal comes on it's brighter. IMHO it looks great and is a functional mod as well as asthetic purposes.
