i got a question for you guys. i am installing a neon wire into my guage cluster and i wanna hook it up so that it turns on when i turn my headlights on. basically, i wanna hook it up to the headlight switch. i took my steering column cover off. there is a plug on the left side with like 5 or 6 wires coming out of it. i figured this is the headlights plug (when i unplug it the headlights turn off). now does anyone know what wire i need to splice into for a hot and a ground so i cna hook my neon up to it

i would jus hook it up straight to the fuse box as if you were installing indiglo gauges....and yeah ur buddy with the parted out del sol does he have a number i can reach him at so i can get some parts from him....thanks

 

you can run the power wire to your headlight fuse... just wrap the wire around the metal prongs on the fuse.. if im not mistaken this will only provide power when you switch on the headlight? Im no wiring expert but hey it sounds feasible.
