Default Am I screwed?

I am in the process of freshening up my B-series motor and I realize i didn't remove the crank pulley before I removed the head. Is it possible to remove the crank pulley off of a short block?

No it won't spin. The moroso tool or one like it holds the crank in place so that the bolt can be taken off with a ratchet and breaker bar or another method.
