Default Turbocharger balancing

I elected to rebuild my own turbo thinking I would save a buck or two. Anyways, word to the wise, a professional rebuild will relieve a lot of stress in your life I got a quote for $175 locally to balance the turbo unit before I assemble it. Does this sound right? I've never had this done before but I think thats a little excessive. They said it only takes an hour or two at the most. I contacted a shop in Arizona and he said he would do it for $30, but I lost his number.

Anyone? Someone has to have had this done before. I just want to know mainly what the "going rate" on balancing is so I don't get hosed..

I would think somewhere b/t $50-$100. Just a guess though. Call these guys they will give you a decent price, they have always hooked me up.

Most shops including us charge $2-250 for a complete rebuild

Yeah, thats the thing though. I'm not asking them to rebuild it. I already did that part. I just want it balanced!
