turbo + ecu codes = ???
i just converted to obd1 in my 89 crx si with a b16a1, i am now throwing a code 9 (tdc/crank/cyl sensor), code 14 (iacv), and a code 20 (eld). How bad of an idea is it to run a turbo kit when I am throwing ecu codes? the car seems to be running fine.

Well, if you are having distributor issues, that would effect timing and in turn would effect boost and you WILL run the risk of blowing your motor once in boost. You won't be able to tune your engine correctly at all.
FIX YOUR ECU CODES FIRST. Remember to reset the ECU each time you make changes. I usually unplug the ECU to make sure everything is reset and then plug it back in, because sometimes pulling the hazard fuse on some cars doesn't do it.
