I have recently taken my JDM sir ecu connected upto my vtec controller out of that car and put it into my UK spec VTI, the car feels a little quicker and revs to 8500 approx 300 revs higher than with the normal UK ecu in, however when revving higher a few times (in the vtec band if you like) an engine fault light appears...I havent got to finding the code yet largely since it was only yday and im unsure on doing it properly..Basically the top and bottom of my queery is what is it likely to be and is this change suitable and/or advisable..? Im not too sure on the effectiveness of the controller either if anyone may shed some light on that also. This would be a great help, much appreciated!
