Heres the deal. I have a LSVTEC set up and im about to put in my new block. Heres what my LS block consists of

CTR OS Pistons
Complete bore/honing
Completely assembled by a machinist
ACL Bearings
ARP Rod bolts
Brand new VTEC Oil Pump

Now my friend wants to trade me a JDM B20 Block+BuddyClub Spec 4 cams + 500 on top for my block

Should i go ahead and do it? I seriously want to do whatevers in my best interest.... I was never too fond of running B20VTEC. And i thought i would never go that route but since there is a release of cast 84mm+ Pistons a b20 build wouldnt be too expensive and achievable... So should i take the chance and run a built B20VTEC 12:1 Compression stock bottom sleeves with BC4s? Or continue with my LSVTEC set up?

i would go with the b20 block because with the 500 cash if you budget properly you can build the b20 just my thoughts

thats a pretty fair trade IMHO

 

Go LSVTEC. Dont throw away your set up since u invest into it already. I know i wouldnt.

 

Yeah but with that 500 etc that does not buy me new sleeves.. which are my BIGGEST concerns...

keep you LS setup.... 12:1 on a non-sleeved B20... pffft good luck....
Will 500 be able to make that B20 12:1 proof...??
