if he got an S2k it would bump it up to $43000....
u cant just think about the price of the car, you have to add taxes, tags, warranties, gap, and biggest thing FINANCE Charges
My friend only paid $25000 ( everything included except extended warantty) for his 2004 RSX-S .... his interest rate was around 3.5% ...

this is about the 8th post. i went in depth for the other ones, but i dont feel like doing the same thing if people are not willing to use the search button.
1. you cant post final prices because of TTL fee's. they are different in each area.
2. dont forget about options.
3. dont forget about interest rates.
in early september(during the first shipment of dc5's) i paid 22,900 before TTL. after TTL it was 24,950 and some change. right now, i would pay 22,300. maybe less. whoever paid 33,000, you got screwed. what was your interest rate? 20%? at 23,000 for the car and 1% interest rate, it's 230 dollars per 1%. 33,000 - 25,000(after TTL prices)=8000. that's a lot in interest.

There is no more hype in RSX's... not worth the money...
if you're gonna spend that kind of money for a "sports compact" from "honda" ...just get the 2006 Civic SI.
just study the features from the 06 SI and 06 RSX Type S, you can easily see, you are getting a much better value for the civic.... 6spd, LSD, navi, newer "futuristic" interior,... versus..the outdated '02 style RSX...
everybody can keep arguing about rsx type s and civic si... but the truth is..its just a damn cycle..both cars will be better beating each other every model... the next 2007/2008 RSX's will then beat the 06 civic si's.... then the cycle repeats all over...

What good is all that if you don't like the look of the Civic, or the dash layout, or care about having Navi? I'm still glad I bought my Type-S.
