cliking

my car clicks only when I turn and accelerate. I know that axle is a possible cuprit but if so shouldn't my car clicks even without acceleration?

You're putting a heavier load on the CV Joint while accellerating. If it just started making noise, this isn't uncommon.

your CV joints need to be inspected to make sure that the boots are not cracked. IF the boots are cracked replace the joint if you can otherwise replace the axle. When you start hearing noise, it's too late...........

CV joint in half-shaft..... Either needs <U>rebuild</U> or replace with new part.
