Default JDM question

i have a 91 JDm b16 mtor. but my car is a 95. for those in CA, how can u make ur motor look legit to the popos eyes when u get caught? here in CA it is illegal to swap a motor older than ur car. so what can i do to make it legit? does it have to include swapping blocks, heads? or just the VIN? any info is appreciated.

...jdm motors do not have a vin like our system here.

...asking us how to avoid getting caught breaking the law is
No motors have VINs.

All blocks are numbered, regardless of where it's from. All trannies have a marking plate riveted to them also.

Anyone who tells you the motor they're selling has no block # because it's JDM is a thief. (Just a heads up for everyone.)

my old motor didnt have numbers. all it said was " B18C" with no numbers under it.
but it also came from a Honda dealer in japan too so i guess that makes a difference.

All replacement blocks have no #s.
