Hey guys, my car was stolen from outside my apartment last night (12/19) at 12:10 in the morning. I have the surveillance video and it shows alot. It shows a white civic hatch with black rim and a carbon hood entering and exiting the gate 3 times before my car was stolen. It shows it driving around slow and then leaving right after my car. I am thinking this car was involved. I guess there is nothing I can do, just wanting to let you Orlando guys know to watch your cars.

 

Sorry to hear that. What kind of theft deterrent devices did you have?

 

Alarm, Starter kill, thats about it. Now I wish i had more... you never think it will happen to you though.

Did the camera catch a glimpse of the plates?

I don't recognize that specific hatch but I will defintely be keeping an eye out. I'm basically on the same side of town as you. I'll go to those gay *** K-mart meets and poke around. I've got a newly aquired hatch myself so I'll see if anyone has some "ITR" parts they are looking to get rid of real quick. I'm so over this theft issue ****. I wanna see these ******* locked up.

You don't? If it wasn't for the video the white hatchback wouldn't have even been known.

Seems kinda useful to me. Sure, it would be MORE useful with the plates but there's a decent chance that the plates were stolen, covered, etc anyways.

Wow, looks like the license plate was removed or maybe even they used that anti-camera shield thing thats advertised online...

I'm all over this guys. This is just such bull ****. To the thread starter I would contact the Kissimmee PD and tell them a heads up. That's where the last 3 stolen R's from the orlando area have ended up.

And theives if your watching this thread....you'd better watch out, I'd dot you in the eye, you'd better watch out cause I'm gonna make you cry, David clause is gonna expletive you up!!!

 

 

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I always get so nervous when I see these threads. Especially since I am not too far from you at all. It seems like none of the people in Orlando I know have their Type R's anymore. Time to start letting the GSD sleep in the garage, I guess.

How did they get in the gate? I know some complexes you have to punch in a code and where you punch in the code there is a camera that records evryone who gos in and out

Just get an attack dog like I did. lol Anyone that Leo doesn't recognize that enters our house at night is fair game. Technically I have to give him the command to attack, but he does a bark and hold on his own. That would suffice until Jason and I could get up, get dressed, grab a gun, and take care of business.

If their gate is anything like ours, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Plus, if they call the right idiot in the complex to open it up, they'll open it without even asking who's at the gate.

That rediculous they should have a camera right were the punch code is so your face is recorded when you try to call someone

 

or they know someone that lives there that scoped out the R in the first place - any way to get a log of who buzzed who in that night?
