help please! H22 dizzy wiring

Default help please! H22 dizzy wiring

hello, i know im new and this is my 1st post and all but... im doing an OBD1 H22 swap into my friends '92 lude and i cant seem to find any info on how to convert the internal coil ditributor to an external coil like the stock H23 has. this is the only thing that i have left to do to complete the swap and start the car!!! any info would be great, but i would prefer a pictorial cuz im a visual kind of guy!

none of that helped me out any, only like five were what i was lookin fo, and they were all basically un-answered. also, i would really like a step by step, or pictures on how to modify the dizzy. INTERNAL TO EXTERNAL.

just use which ever on you have the harness for. its simple. I used my h23 external on my jdm h22 its just easier then wiring.

and if you dont like that then I would suggest getting the wiring diagrams and you should be set with matching up wires.

ummm just hook the h23 dizzy up plug in the 2 wire clips than hook up your igniion coil, wow your done how hard was that. thats all it takes!!! Both dizzy's use the same prongs/clips.

cool, thanks i got the dizzy wired up, got spark, noe what is the foring order on the JDM block and dizzy? it wont start but we have fuel and spark.

sorry, but i dont really have much time to search. im a pretty busy person, and just wanna get this thing running. ive tried like every thing i can imagine, and it still wont start. fuel, spark, it turns over well, backfires a bunch, but wont start. any ideas? everything seems to be hooked up and wired correctly, cept for plug wires maby. any help would be great. thanks for the help so far.

make sure your plug wires are hooked up in the right order then. Like the guy above said, search and you'll find your answer. if you have the time to get on this forum then you have the time to search.
