Default Is there a way???

Is there a way to check my tranny fluid w/out jacks??? Also if it is low (have an axel seal leak, will get fixed next week due to finals week) can I add some tranny fluid to it??? And how will I know when I put too much???? Also where is the bolt. I asked before for a b16a, but the truth is I couldn't find it. Also I have a gsr tranny, Y-80, so is it different??? Please, I need to make sure I have enough fluid for the next week until I change the axel seal and tranny fluid.

peace

1. Open hood
2. Locate transmission fill plug near back of transmission (on passenger side)
3. Remove plug
4. Insert finger
5. If finger has plenty of oil on it - it's full
6. If in doubt - Insert flexible tube with funnel attatched to end, and pour fluid in until oil pours out of hole
7. Reinsert plug
8. Kick self for not putting pan under tranny to catch fluid that ran out
9. Clean up garage floor
10. Have a bud and a smile.

You may want to remove your intake, this will make more space.

If it's that tight then I suggest you get a new crush washer too from Honda.

That could leak because it's really only meant to be crushed ONCE just like your oil drain plug washer.

1. Shoot Honda tech who overtorqued bolt at factory
2. Shoot Honda dealer mechanic who overtorqued bolt at last maintainance
3. Buy a breaker bar
4. Get a good 6 point or metwrench 17mm socket (I think that's right)
5. With intake hose removed (as previously suggested), use breaker bar from above to remove bolt

Acccck. Sorry, forgot about how overtight those are from the factory.

Hint: Don't overtighten when you fill - it makes it much easier to remove next time.
