i have a d15b i just bought the car and somebody used the obd0 dizzy... i tired adjusting the ignition timming but i cant turn it... i heard somewhere that if i grind off the two bottom lobes on the dizzy (that dont have bolts in them anyways because they dont line up) that i can turn the dizzy and adjust the ignition timing

can anybody confirm this before i go grinding away at my distributor???

You should be able to turn it the way it is, what I would look into is extending the openings of the bolt holes, not wacking them off, that way you can actually use more then one bolt to hold it on.

 

the lobes and the threaded holes are completley off even if i extended the holes i couldint put a bolt in them i will try to get a pic in a little bit
