Default 89 crx si electical problems help!!!!!

ok along time ago i had a shop make my charge pipes on my z6 turbo, on the passenger side whole where you run them, they smashed the wires in the loom right there, the wires are for the blinker, headlight, corner light,ect... well everything works but the front right blinker and corner light, it fried a single wire up under the dash, i replaced the wire because it melted the insulation, well now a year or so later, my turbo ls is in it, now with it running it will click, the headlights and radio, gauge cluster, ect all of that will go out, and 5 or so seconds later click and come back on? any suggestions?

you are grounding out somewhere. Do you have any open connections that might be touching metal while you drive and hit bumps?

it does it when its just idleing, i havent driven it yet, just got it running again. but if the horns hooked up and u press it, it will shut stuff off too, im guessing maybe it just messed up the relay? but would it cause problems like this or not work at all?

So its not blowing fuses? Cause if it's not blowing fuses than it would have to be the relay. Grounging out would cause the fuses to go. Is the relay new as well?

SOunds like wires might be crossed on the relay or something thats making it load up.

thats sounds like a bad ground not that its grounding out... when you press the horn if its not grounded right it wont handle a load and it will just cut out...

It's getting too much power, meaning you've got it hooked up to something with too much amperage. It's not adjusting the current to the plug, so you've got it wired to a constant or something.

If it's clicking, it's the relay. It might have done something to it when it fried the wire. Have you even tried getting a new relay and hooking it up. ? THe clicking you here is the relay. For some stupid reason, it might have decided to take a dive. Won't hurt to try.
