i picked up a CX with a d15b with i/h/e, i used to have a boosted 91 crx and notta clue with whats goin on with this motor. im looking at getting a 50 shot, guy on the board is selling his zex kit. now i know you will need to get a 190fuel pump and retard the timing a little bit but is there anything else, i did some searchin and cant find much ?

 

You dont need to upgrade the fuel pump.

I ran an 80 shot on a b18b in a '92 cx with a stock fuel pump for 2 years.
Never had a problem.

Retard the timing, get a colder spark plug, and always run atleast '91 octane.

 

what is a good spark plug to get? people always say a colder one but how can u tell? a part # or link would rok!

 

get spark plugs for a 1990 nissan maxima (i think thats the year). They are colder than the factory one, its what ive been using and everything is kosher

 

My buddy ran a walbro 255, 2 degrees of timing taken out, and a 100 shot on his D15 with no problems. Stock internals also with I/H/E. It ran great for a long time until the 150 shot took it out. He was leaving for the army and wanted to have a good time with it.
