When car is running, suddendly it feels like it's on Neutral, what it can be?
Well my friend has a 95 LX auto Accord, and he tells me that he's driving it normally on the street, then the car suddendly feels like it's on neutral, he floors and the revs climb, but the car doesn't accelerate.
If he shuts the car down, and turn it up again, the glitch is gone and everything is back to normal for a while, before showing up again.
What could it be?

Is the D light, in the dash display, on when it souldn't be (when in park or neutral). If so, you may have a computer problem. If not maybe tourqe converter or transmission. Checked the condition, level of the fluid?
its probably something to do with the transmission. my girlfriends parents had the same problem on the explorer. it kept neutralling out in reverse.

the description you give is classic "plugged up sump" I'll bet the torque converter clutches are coming apart and there is lots of debris in the trans, it plugs up the fluid pick up point then the trans has no pressure; when you let the car sit for 10-15 minutes the junk falls out of the pick up and the trans again has pressure.
Drop the trans open the case and clean it all out, get a new torque converter and drive it some more

rebuild the trans if the TQ converter has come apart otherwise you are gonna have to do it soon anyways and sending metal though a new TQ converter is a bad idea

it's def. the tranny. My friends acura was doing that. He had to replace the chip in the engine and he had to replace the trans. valves. It shouldn't cost you too much, if you do it yourself around 100bucks, take it to a dealer a lot more good luck
