Worst comes to worst, just make your own template from butcher paper or cardboard .

Good luck!

Remove the old plastic crap thingy.

Put 2 layers of ducttape on the tailgate.

Put the spoiler in place carefully

now press the spoiler fermly.

Then remove the spoiler and look at the duct tape. You find 5 nodges.

TADAAAAA.. that's where you have to drill.

Note that the drills on the corners must be a bit deeper. Else you're screwdriver won't reach the nuts.

I have done it this way myself, and I'm very pleased.

Also take notice to the window whiper. The original arm doesn't fit with this spoiler. If you also got the matching whiper arm... be carefull, as there is just little space for it!
So the spoiler must be carefully aligned with the whiper rotor.

Sorry for my moderate english... as I'm from The Netherlands, and english is not my native language.

Yep. I'm not sure if it's a lower profile wipre blade, but the arm shape will be different, the Si wiper arm doesn't sit right in the opening of the SiR spoiler.

And I just made my own template for the spoiler. The paper was a little flimsy, so i had to round out my center hole, but no biggie.

Here's a pic of mine. you can see the shape of the wiper arm vs the shape of the opening in the spoiler, and if it went to move, it would hit the spoiler.

haha...the SiR spoiler i bought came in the same color as yours.

Yea, i can confirm that the Si rear wiper arm will not work with the SiR spoiler.
as of right now the wiper motor is disconnected so that there arent any accidents.
I have to look into using the DX wiper arm or just do some bending of the Si one, but that dosent sit too well with me

the wiper of the SiR aka JDM EF aka EDM EE8 have a bend. In initial state, it's pointing to the upper right corner of the rear window.
When the arm reaches the edge, that the point where the arm bends to align with the right side edge of the window.

I'll try to get an image tomorrow, to make this post more clear.

So.. if you buy an JDM EF aka SiR aka EDM EE8 wing, also get yourself the wiper arm!!!

How did you european mates fill the holes what left from the EDM 16v wing?

Do i just have to weld the holes and paint the hatch?

is the SiR blade any lower profile, or is it just bent?

@Twilight: Exactly as you say: Weld, grind and paint. Nothing more, nothing less.

@C0nspire: The SiR blade itself isn't lower profile. But the connection of arm to the rotor-shaft IS!!!

Any other questions?? Hahaha.
It feels like I'm the "Si/SiR wiper arm guru" today. LOL
