Default Help, 93 civic will crank but will not start.

This morning i get into my car in a rush to get to work, but my car just cranks. It does not want to start. It seems it is at the virge of starting, but there seems to be some irregularities to the firing of the spark plugs. So I have replaced all the spark plugs. I can hear the fuel pump pumping. Any ideas?

I have not checked the spark, do you have any detail info on how to do this. Just sounds odd running the car with no spark on all the cylinders.

Pull off one spark plug wire, stick a spark plug in it, ground it, and have someone crank the engine.

Pull out a spark plug wire, stick a screw driver in it, and ground it somewhere, or hold the spark plug wire against the valve cover and have someone crank it. Look for the spark.

I had my car just completely shut off while driving because of a bad/old dizzy. It'd do the same thing. Stupid question, but did you check the battery?
