horray!

that's how I pass emissions in my turbo'd accord, install stock ECU/injectors/MAP sensor, drive around for a little bit, take test, pass, remove all crap & reinstall aftermarket stuff. good for another year. It throws a code if I drive too long w/ stock stuff I just get the test done before the code appears.

If your car is OBD2b equipped, there can (from time to time) be conditions whereas the 2nd position O2 sensor is out of range (either because of a heater issue or momentary contamination). this sometimes happens when the secondary O2 sensor doesn't agree with the front (primary) O2 sensor (or isn't seeing the values it's expecting.

awesome, the guy who passed me last year got busted so im gonna try the spark plug no fouler trick w/ my secondary 02 sensor to see i f pass this year, im gonna have to disconnect the wastegate flapper and put my stock 0bd2 ecu and injectors back in to pass this year. i hope i have the same luck you do, anyone know the approximate drive cycle on the accord ecus? i was reading on the civics its only warm up from complete cool, then let the car cool off again, then drive to the emissions place.

that trick works awesome, I've personally installed it on a few people's cars and it always works. I'll be doing the same when I have my cat removed next month.

you definitely need to start the car at least 3 times before the codes are all set. This last time I reset the computer leaving work on a friday, drove it home, then the next morning I just drove around doing errands for an hour or two and then went & passed the test no problem.
