Default Repainting exhaust

When I turboed my car I threw away my old TRM into the woods behind my old apartment. That was three years ago. I got it yesterday and it is clean still, however the flanges are rusted. I have already started to grind off the rust and what not, but my question is if I would want to use this ona nother car of mine how would I repaint it? I mean you all know they come with some high temp paint on them to begin with, but I am wonderign if it is the same stuff u buy at Autozone or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's gonna smell like crap for a few days but hopefully it will work.

Or just get it powdercoated.

See thats what I figured, use some high temp engine enamel. Should work out I think, like a flat black or something of the sort.

its what my brother used to paint his engine block black. Its been a year and no flaking or anyting. Its high temp enamel for engines, like painting your block
