Default Close Pics of HKS headers

Hi
Today I have installed my baffed oil pan so I have decided to do some pics to the flange of my HKS super headers, that shows "strange" works for me
Here tha pics:












What do you think?

Spoon had similar tooling on its header as well. Supposedly, the design is intended to provide an anti-reversion function.

Those aren't the ones with the Xover tubes...I believe that design has already been discontinued and replaced with the current unit....

local user "Jaker" had/has the original Xover version....

Sorry if it's obvious for you...but can you explain to me the true function of this "fingernails" on the flange?

As I stated above, the design is almost certainly intended to serve the same function (a form of anti-reversion) as the similar features that Spoon incorporates into its own header.
