Poly bushings on back but not front
I'm in the process of doing an integra brake conversion on my CRX. When I pulled off my trailing arms, I killed a few of the bushings in the process. So now I have to buy new bushings. Ideally I would like rubber bushings, but they are like $60 a piece b/c you have to buy them from Honda (am I wrong?). So I could go with poly bushings, but then I would only have them on the back. Is that going to cause problems having them on the back and not the front?
I don't really want any poly bushings, b/c ride quality is important, but I also don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a few pieces of rubber...

Yes. Most of the rear suspension bushings are $15 (USD) each or less. None are more than $24, except for the big trailing arm bushings, which are $43-46 apiece.

To answer your other question - no, it won't cause any harm to have poly bushings in just the rear.

I know it won't cause any HARM to have non-poly on the front - but if you stiffen the back and not the front it will be more prone to understeer, no? Or is it super-miniscule?
Good site by the way.
Good site by the way.
Problem is that the trailing arm bushings in urethane cause the suspension to bind because if doesn't allow that bushing to move properly as the factory intended. So in the cause it isn't a problem of over/understeer.

you really shouldnt be concerning yourself over the effects of poly in a front/rear handling change kind of perspective. its just not that significant or directly related.
and busting a bushing or two shouldnt be your reason for switching to poly.
you can get really cheap replacement bushings from here. at least they show em available. its not OEM, but i imagine some of their brands are OEM suppliers.

however, i still recommend getting straight from OEM if you have the budget.
