Hi Yall

Just got back from a nice trip up to Hakone. Took some pictures and some videos. The video quality sucks because I used my digital camera instead of a proper video camera. I don't have a proper camera mount so the video is a bit shakey too...but enjoy.

This is a shot of me drivng (video being shot by the woman -while fighting off the serious G's ) down a very steep down grade. Its mostly 3rd gear driving with some 4th gear shifts. I managed to get up to 160km/hr about 100mph, in some areas.

The file is big, quality is blah, and it could make you car sick just watching it, but enjoy. Not menat to show off, my fantastic touge driving skills either.

Just watched the vid and I'm very disappointed!
No picture of your female videographer? She did a great job with the wrong camera.

 

Its a good camera but it sucks at taking videos....videographer doesn't like to be photo or videograpghed

Wheeeee!! Those sweeping turns look like fun...although I would probably drive them like a poossay since guard rails scare me! PS What is sitting on your dash in from of your clock? I caught a glimpse of it in your video.

Is it the one where the Integra goes up against a Ferrari in open traffic?
Or is it the one where the guy drives at high speed on a rainy track and slams sideways into a wall?

Oh Oh!! I know!!! It must be the one were the guy accelerates from 40 to 140mph on an open highway!

Those are real safe acts and totally fit for public display.

IMO, I honestly think you should take a look at the video AT LEAST before banning it!!

Secondly, if you have to ban my video, you have to ban everyone else's or it its not fair.

Well, that and I'm sure he took your word for the fact that you were going up to 100 MPH in some spots. I'm guessing it was illegal.

It's hard to enforce rules when there aren't any rules... *cough cough* Reid or Yoshi reading?

The 140 MPH highway runs and street racing is pretty gay, and by allowing those it just encourages people to make more of them. I didn't see your video, so I don't know if it was worth making an example of or not.

Hot car, did you tune it yet? Or turn up the boost anyway?

Well....lets put it this way, its nothing that you would not see in Best Motoring or Hot Version. Hakone mountain has no traffic during the afternoon on weekdays, so I was not posing any harm other than to myself. And again, if yhe moderators **think** that the video was deplicting unsafe activities, they need to either ban everything else or allow mine....selectively banning stuff (especially if they haven't even seen it themselves) is totally unfair.
