momo steering wheel + smog test

Default momo steering wheel + smog test

i need to get my car smogged so i can renew my registration. however, i have an aftermarket steering wheel. will i still be able to take the test or will they automatically fail me? also, i live in southern california if that has to do anything with it. thanks in advance

i believe if you have an SRS light on, you cannot pass smog...

just take it in and try. When i went to the ref. i just un plugged my srs light behind the cluster and put my stock steering wheel back on, but left it disconnect under the steering collum. passed the ref first try, didnt even ask anything about the SRS system and i came home and put my momo back on
