Will this fit?
I've got an ATS 4.929 FD and I used the GS-R .787 5th gear. You could also use the .714 LS 5th gear, but I would not because the drop from 4th to 5th is still good with the GS-R 5th gear.
The .714 would probably drop you nearly out of VTEC on the 4-5 shift - something you want to stay away from I assure you.
Why do you want the lower 5th gear? Gas mileage? Highway cruising? Higher top speed?
I bought the GS-R 5th because I didn't want to be cruising at too high of an RPM on roadtrips, and I also wanted a slighty higher top speed too.

Right. The 5th gear for the 90-93 LS is .742, about half way between a 94+ LS and 94+ GS-R 5th. At 70 MPH, it runs about 200 RPMs lower than the GS-R. Just wondering if it would fit with no problems...
