USDM ITR and JDM ITR shifters are the same.

The only difference is the color of the shift linkage, JDM is gold while USDM is black.

1997-1998 USDM ITR shifter was/is black color; I believe all other ITRs is chrome.

They might have been But I 'heard' a looong time ago that they had a shortened throw over the standard ITR shifters.
I have no proof tho..

WTF!

OK I'll play your failing mind games...

Goldish shifter linkage, I heard that they had reduced throw and maybe lighter.
My 01 US ITR has a chrome finished rod that holds the faux Ti shifter ball.
and for anything else... Leave me out of it.

*scratches head*
that's the thing, i don't see how the shift linkage can have a reduced throw lol. myself and my friend have driven both and they looked and felt the same. we did not however get a chance to weigh the black shift linkage versus the jdm itr bronze one.

Did the OP change his original post? Cus this whole thing went off topic and I was interested in the throw question!
