HA! and I am able to pick a crx for 100 bucks with a straight body and a seized engine. How hard will it be to do the b18a1 swap. What all will i need besides mounts?
I know I wanna do the rear disc swap and I've always liked crx's.
Anyone got a write up....I did search b18a1 I swear.

Please don't reply if you don't know what you're talking about. You obviously haven't done the swap correctly (or at all).
Rear discs provide better stopping power, especially if you add in the right proportioning valve. It would be a good idea if you're wanting to swap in the bigger motor.
And about the motor swap things you'll need; it depends on what year and trim level that crx is, and whether or not you're willing to swap out things from your integra.

^^ I'm giving my opinion. I do in fact own an 89 crx CRX SI with the swap that works fine, proportioning valve and all. I also own a 1991 CRX SI that came with the rear disk set up in stock form. I'll bet you had no idea that i have the original write up for a both cars which proves that the 89 stock with rear drums actually stopped 3 feet shoter than the disk setup in the newer model.....not know what i'm talking about? Ha!
Its true the disks look very good, and in most situations disks provide better performance, but not in the crx.
I have owned 8 crx's now and tried many different setups, and can provide valuble advise based on experience. I would not do a swap on an older model car, the results did not prove worthwhile.

But isn't the 90/91 car hundreds of pounds heavier than the 88/89's?
If so, 3 feet isn't hard to believe.

It is heavier, not hundres of pounds though. A lot of that extar weight is from the disk brakes themselves, ha ha.
Thats why i don't think the swap is all that great. Its not that it sucks or anything, but time and effort can be better spent on other things. 80% of braking comes from the front end anyway.
Here are the exact weights of both my crx's in stock form right from the Honda brochiers themselves:
1989 CRX SI -2048 lbs
1991 CRX SI- 2167 lbs
