Default boost question, again.

my friend has a stock 94 accord (f22a) and wants to know if a eclipse manifold\turbo would bolt right up to his motor, or what welding\fabrication would have to be done. we did a search and found a bit of criteria, but still need info on welding and all of that. is he going to need a ems? what would be needed besides anything taken from the eclipse. any help would be amazing, thanks

The only commonality Honda ever had with Mitsubishi was at the first years of Odyssey production. I believe they originally used Mitsu engines at first.
As far as I know, there is nothing common for F Honda engines. It will NOT be a direct bolt-on

If you could find one at a junkyard or something you could just take the mani, turbo,dp,injectors, blow off valve and resister box and side mount intercooler thats almost a hole kit but yeah do a search and you will see alot of ppl use the eclipse turbo manifold on there f22-h23 engines!</TD></TR></TABLE>

he didn't get owned, he said that it will NOT be a direct bolt on....which the other post confirmed....you have to drill new holes, which means it wasn't made to bolt right on....get a life....he knows what he's talking about.

The DSM manifolds will only work on 4th gen f22a's with the 0-0-0-0 style exhaust ports, the newer f22bx motors with the 0-00-0 style exhaust ports cannot use the dsm manifold no matter how many bolt holes you redrill.

btw 94 accords have f22b1/2 engines, that dont work with dsm manifolds. check in the Forced Induction sponsor market place, LSD Motorsports can make you a manifold, they made mine.
