Cruise is lost..... I already have taken mine in anticipation for the J's catch can coming in next week.

If you get a catch can that replaces the cruise you loose it...

most guys with aftermarket wheels have re-located their cruise buttons under the dash above their right legs. i have seen pictures of this...you can unscrew the unit off of the stock steering wheel and re mount it to the dash

well airbag is lost 100% with an after market wheel...you can save the cruise control though...

personally i think aftermarket steering wheels are a waste for the reasons of:

no airbag (important in case of ....u know....bad things)
cruise control

u can put ur nos buttons other places....

and the oem steering wheel is nice enough already...probably nicest stock one i've ever driven.

most people don't have NOS, and most people attach their horn to those red buttons

still....an aftermarket wheel doesn't outweigh the benefits of a stock one.....if u find a reason that it does... please let me know.

its just a bling mod, unless you track the car and need a removeable hub...

And please do tell me what the benefits of a stock wheel are? An airbag? In the last three Hondas i've owned i've had aftemarket wheels.

I have never been in a major accident so the airbag is no use to me, and the peace of mind knowing that my quick release will deter some thefts, helps me sleep just fine and night and justifies my purchase for me.

Uhhh...yeah, pretty much the best reason to retain a stock steering wheel (or atleast one equipped with such)...i'll never own a car that i drive with any regularity that does not have an airbag...kept my wife's face from being mangled in her accident.

right, so why get an aftermarket wheel at all? i suppose when you face gets jacked in an accident you can still tell your friends you have a bling wheel, though.
