Chassis question

Default Chassis question

Ive got a crx chassis (some one rear ended some 1 with it) it looks similar to



Ive got a 89 civic hatch i wanted to take the front radiator support etc off the hatch and bolt it on the crx. would it work? what problems would i run into?

i had the same problem and i managed to use a whole 4 door front end (hood, bumper, filler piece, head lights) on my 90 hatch and got it to line up right. looks a little nasty under the hood tho, im sure its possible and the biggest problem would just be getting it all to line up right.

it also helps that my dad does body work as a side-job so he helped me out

that is the link to my project thread, you can kinda see the front but i have no pics up of under the hood or the process of putting the front end on, sorry.

p.s. i will have some more up tomorrow although my headlights and corners are out since it is being primed

that picture is painful.

there is a guy somewhere on this board who did a very similar thing to his crx. something about some kids playing on the highway. but he managed to find the whole front bulkhead from honda and swap it on. it wasnt too long ago either.

yes use the fenders, hood, headlights, bumper, bumper support and radiator support... all will bolt together onto your car
