every morning i start my car when the motor is cold...i keep on hearing a knocking noise...i think it's comming from the block....it knock for maybe 15 to 20 seconds...and when the motor is warm up it sounds fine to me....but those knock makes me paranoid.... dont kno wats the problem...thought it was my oil pump, and i change it, still the same problem.....could it be my bearings? all my rods are at .0015 of a clearence....and mains are .002 .002 .002 .0015 .0015 <--- could tha be the problem? mains to loose? on ( 1 2 3) 4 5 lmk ....

My friends old civic done that. Once the car warmed up it didnt make the noise anymore.

sounds like your using some arias pistons.... no but it is piston slap for sure

WHat kind of fuel u running and what did u tune wit??? i know that my buddy wit all motor ls-vtec wit ctr .25 over that runs 12.1 has that noise probablem when just running pump gas.. so he mix his gas wit half race and have pump.....
