Just trying to gather some advice for a Friend about putting a zex kit on his RSX. We all urge him to do it, but we want some others to throw their two cents in. Just some helpful words of advice and precautions.

 

I ran a zex kit, and had good results (times in sig) just make sure you use a wet kit, with cold plugs.

 

Maybe I need to be more CLear,Im schooled in the art of the bottle, but Im just trying to get some people to give advice to help him with the idea of using Nitrous, he scared of breaking ****. Like to help *** him into using it

 

the only things to fear with nitrous are the quality of the kit, the knowledge of the person installing it, and the tuning. the zex kit i ran on my 01 civic ran consistent 12's in the air/fuel ratio's on a wideband. any of the wet kits on the market from reputable companies like nx, zex etc have much money invested in r&d so that you dont blow up your car. installing a WET kit from any of these companies will net you a nice hp gain, gobs of torque and lots of fun. make sure to use plugs approx 2 heat ranges cooler. get a bottle heater and purge kit as well. have fun with it. nitrous is by far the best bang for the buck you can get today. by the way anybody who tells you nitrous will blow up your engine no matter what doesnt know his *** from his elbow.

 

Yea good advice, i guess what im looking for is to have him see alot of people saying he wont blow up his motor. I think he wont believe me cause ive blown a motor on Nitrous, but i just got Greedy with it.
