Ok i got headers this weekend...were do the i connect the wires to from the o2 sensor 2? thanks

 

its a 94 hatch with a d16y8 motor..were do i connect the o2 wires from the o2 sensor

 

the o2 should have a connector just plug it back into that one.

 

connector from the main wire harnest?

 

does anyone have a pic of wat part of the harnest it goes to? cuz i cant find it on my car

 

The 94 civic only uses one o2 sensor which is the one that goes into the header.

 

i no that i wanna no were does the wires from the o2 sensor off the header go to..like i no in the harnest but which plug?

 

Did you not unplug the O2 sensor from something when you removed the old header? Do you have a multiple choice of empty connectors hanging around that location?

the male plug of the o2 sensor should only plug into one female plug from the harness.

did u get a stock header from a d16y8, or aftermarket? if aftermarket which motor did u get it for? a d15b, d16z6, or d16y8?

if it's for a d16y8 I think you will have 2 spots for 2 o2 sensors. you only need to use one if u have a 94 hatch. pick the one closest to the o2 male plug, its the plug nearest to the radiator if your car was orignally a CX, VX, DX, but if it was Si, EX then it will be under the intake manifold somewhere.

However if it was originally a CX or VX and you are still using your original engine harness you will have to convert the o2 sensor male plug wires to a 4wire o2 system. you can do a search on topics I have posted in and you will find the info/link.

if you're using the original engine harness you dont have to convert to 4wire it will already be 4wire o2 system that came with the d16y8, I believe you have 2 choices as to where to put the o2 sensors. choose whatever fits. there will be one near the distributor/transmission area and one under the intake manifold somewhere.
