engine won't turn over
when i try starting my accord nothing happens the battery is fully charged and my dash reacts in a weird way my odometer starts to turn speedometer goes up to 170 and the clock on the dash doesn't even lite up not even a clicking noise from the starter
I'm hoping this isn't as tough a problem as it sounds, and I hope we can all laugh once it's over, but I need you to observe several things:
1) Lights work normally?
2) Do they (the lights) dim when you try to start the car?
3) Have you checked ALL the fuses: ie: Starter signal (7.5amp Interior Fuse Box), or the Ignition Fuse (50amp Under-hood Fuse Box) or Battery Fuse (80amp Under-hood Fuse box)??
4) Does the vehicle have a Remote Starter / disable system?
Any of this could point to the problem, let us know

dead battery. jump it and see if the car runs without it. If it does, test and replace battery otherwise, test alt and make sure that it can put out enough juice.......

You may be having a condition developing with the electrical portion of the ignition switch. Either that or the Remote Start system is starting to head toward the lower 48 (south) (Failing).
Unfortunately, the remote start system is NOT native to Honda. It would have been installed in the car after the New Car sale; and it often masquerades as an alarm system.
