I need to replace the bushings in the back of my car, (94 hatch) i dont have sway bars in there but the bushings that are located where the sway bar would be. . . are they called sway bar bushings or shock bushings? i dont know much about suspension.
There are 3 bushings in the lower control arm (which is what I'm assuming you're talking about)
Theres one the closest to the wheel one in the center and one that mounts to the chassis of the car.
If you want the one in the middle then it's the lower shock mount bushing.
Chances are when you go to remove the bolt in there it's either going to snap or seize... I'd recomend buying a replacement bolt ahead of time.
Also keep in mind the nut on the back side of the shock is welded to the shock so... if that snaps or get's fubared... you are going to be replacing that shock or ghetto rigging something.
I recomend absolutely SOAKING the new bolt and interior sleeve of the new bushing with antisieze before re-assembling.
