I run 4" downpipe and 4" exhaust to stock location with a flat black turn down, no muffler on my DD but if I was to do it again id probably do 3" all the way 4" takes away from the drivability alot more then you would think

ALOT of noise, drunkin rides home from the club expect to get pulled over, 4" kills your ground clearance and when you dent it you will get pissed but its going to happen ummm there are a bunch of reasons but then again not many people have 4" so you have much bragging rights

This isnt directed at anyone in this thread but its just a rant. but its gets annoying how everyone wants race setups on cars that arent barely running 11's, $1200 dual ball bearing turbo's, $1000 manifolds, 4" inch dp's,$700 intakes, 1000cc injectors. then you go over to the mitsubishi boards they are running turbo's no bigger than what comes in a Drag 3 kit, running 10's and 11's. with an inferior head and intake design in a heavier car. HT seems to take things to an unecessary extreme. I mean is it about bling or is it about goingg faster?

IMO anything over a 3inch exhaust is overkill for the street.A 3inch exhaust is gonna support more than enough power for the street.

on a deisel probaby

but, yeah...power levels are PROVEN at 3"...but, i mean...if you can have just a bit more hassle and do more power wiht a faster spool out of bigger...why not? I mean, i know i'm doing 3.5" for my setup...but, it won't cost me a much as it would for a prefab 3"....and i can do it for the same price as a custom 3"..so, why not?

but as for manifolds and stuff...yeah, pretty much waste of money for 90% of it...but, it seems that's just part of owning a honda. you gotta keep up with the trends.....i mean, it's not ALL about going fast...it's just about having a decent setup for ppl to give you props for...kinda...show/go at the same time i guess.

This is a street car, exhaust is real quite with magnaflow muffler. People need to understand that u need to run a muffler.
