Default do you daily your lude or have daily???

I'm planning on not daily drive the lude during the winter, but I have a problem, I can't get away from it that's why I drive it all year around, I have a 91 jetta bucket I picked up from a friend that's awesome on harsh winter weather and I still drive the prelude no matter how wintery it is. Do you guys put your ludes away in the winter? I know I should, but I don't

i drive mine no matter what its like outside. mainly because its the only car i have, but still i don't think its a big deal to drive around in the snow. i should mention that i wash the car every week though to keep it looking good!

I agree with you, I also drive it in the snow and it handles it alright, but I hate the salt abuse it takes from the trucks and all that crap flying in the air from cars in front , I know for a fact that the body takes a toll during the winter because I could see tiny marks from salts on the newly paint job of my previous lude.

a wrangler it's fun daily that could keep your lude cozy during the winter, you can pick up a descent 96up for less than $5k or a 95down for maybe $1k, the only thing about the older ones is that they have carburators and it's a pain in the neck to make them start under cold weather, so I'd advise to get a newer one .

i put mine away back when i had mine, it has absolutely no traction at all in slippery weather lol. also winter makes the car rot, so put it away

My 4th gen is parked right now. Won't be moved until winter is over. But it gives me time to change all the breaks and do maintenance on it.

As soon as winter is over - i'm changing the oil, and taking her for a ride.

I'm using my 1987 Grand AM for the winter. Oh yeah - thats a real winter-beater. Can't beat it. Its a real piece of **** - but it gets me from A to B. If i had an awd or a 4x4, i'd drive it in the winter.

Why would you not drive your lude during the winter, anyway? Is there salt on the road?

mine has been a daily for the last year, which is really sad because I have doubled the mileage pretty much...
94 prelude with 14k miles... had 7k a little over a year ago

I have to drive my lude daily and throughout the winter because it's the only car I have which sucks because I live in New York where there is alot of snow and salt all over the roads. Oh well one day I'll save up and get a beater.

That was the whole reason why I bought my Prelude. lol To be my daily driver/autoX and track car. My main car is a 2001 325ci.

Now that I like my Prelude so much, I bought a 240SX that I will use as my daily driver once I swap a new engine in it, whenever that will be.
