Default NEED HELP!

I have a 98 accord and it has been sitting infront of my house for about 1 year without being driven! just has been sitting there.. there is rust all over the brakes/rotors and stuff. I'm just wondering... what kind of stuff should i change?? like... should i change the oil???? what kind of maintainence needs to be done .. haven't driven it for a year! there was a rat in the engine area also. lol

Change the oil, recharge the battery and start that puppy. Get some fresh gas in it and call us once it's running.

Okie, I changed the oil, added some more transmission fluid, checked tires, gave it a tuneup, used computer to check CEL codes.... it says my Catayltic Converter is Deterioating or whatever... what should i do?! replace it? And my car also seems a little shaky sometimes.... what else should i do ?

rust will come off of the rotors after you stop a few times. drive the car for a while and see if the cat function improves, if not replace it.

Before you replace that CAT you might try "cooking" it, I have a friend up north that warms up the engine till the fans cycle then hold the RPM to 4000 for about 5 minutes, this gets the CAT hotter than the fires of hell, and can help clear it out. He swears it helps in many cases.

the car feels like its not stable when i break sometimes.. a tad bit shakey.. not too much... should i rotate my wheels??? other then that its fine.

you might need to reface your rotors and change your brakes and get new tires

Ok, as horrible as this sounds...because you totally screwed up your car, you might just want to do an entire overhaul of your car. Like if you think it needs to be fixed just do it, go over you entire engine look see what you have to buy new/used, or what you can fix. Cause if it's too much then you might just want to sell it for what ever you can get. Good luck and have fun.
