I doubt it..You said it ran perfect in the other car..

Check to see that you're getting fuel and spark.

guy, you said the dash lights stay on when you remove the key from the ignition? I guessing that your crx is not an si/hf is that correct? and you did a dual point-to-multi point conversion? like the other guy said listen for the fuel pump and/or leave the ignition in the on position and crack the bolt on the fuel filter line that goes from the filter to the fuel rail. I had this problem when i put and ls/vtec in my 91 civic std. most likely you are not getting fuel and you need to troubleshoot the wiring first before you even think about trying to start the engine.

my crx is an si......we checked for spark we put in new spark plugs..........it will crank but the starter chokes when trying to turn the engine.....then a whole bunch of fuel would get dumped out through the header manifold, this i know there is fuel and still it won't start

it has to do with something in the electric system

if it ran then it has to do with wiring

injectors and main relay
could be a start

i agree with ef2
check your main relay
make sure you are grounded on the trans, thermo housing, and valve cover
