Default Trying to find someone.....

I'm trying to find the owner of this Del Sol.

If anyone knows who's this is or if you are a member of the boards let me know. I love the look of it and just wondered what kind of suspension your running and what size rims those are. Thanks in advance.

I for one like the look. With the targa off, it would remind me of a Lotus Elise. Diggin' the whole roadster feel.

I'm thinkin it looks like 17s with a slight drop. I mainly wonder cuz i have 17s and am ordering the eibach pro kit springs. And I'm not smoking/injecting/inhaling/ingesting anything. Thanks for the concern though. These cars are not built for track and if one more JDM fan boy tells me to get 15inch rims with some fat *** rubber. I mean c'mon, a targa top chassis on the track. I wish someone else shared my view on these cars as fun little weekend roadsters. Thanks for checking it out anyways though.

also this link is an example of the look I'm going for. Looks just like mine except different rim style and their's is lowered. If anyone knows who's this is, gimme a shout.

lol, to me running 15's isnt mad TYTE JDM Y@....it function. with 15s i have a larger tire selection, less rotational mass, wont increase my final drive much if i use larger tires, and i like to have the comfort of knowing that i have alil rubber in between my rims i just bought and the road. its also been proven that running a larger rim makes the car slower in certain areas, areas i dont want slower.

Del Sols have a lot of potential, just their targa top does lend to some body roll. I just have no idea why that looks like a Lotus Elise.

I dunno about 17s but 16s would be a good size.

Well everyone's entitled to an opinion. I'm not trying to start a fight. I just compared it to an Elise because of the targa top and the large rims. You wouldn't find an elise rolling on 14" steelies for handling, although they were designed for bigger rims anyways. I've seen alot of del sol's on 17"s that looked like **** because of thick rubber and tons of wheel gap. I just feel that when done right, it has a cool sporty look. Thanks for all the posts though.

you might want to check in here for the owner: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=757567

BTW Del Sols can hit on any track

You should've seen the face of the owner of a Dodge Viper that went up against my street daily driven del sol with a lil boost...

what suspension are you running? Thats roughly the drop I wanna get. I'm thinking of ordering the eibach pro kit springs. The more I look the more I think maybe I should get the sportline. Do you think on 17s the drop would be too much?
