You can't just buy a chip man, it is pretty much a walking talking scam. The only thing worth doing as far as computer work is a custom tune. If you aren't doing that, then don't even bother. Spend the cash on bolt on's and suspension instead.
Intake - Ebay with K&N Filter will be fine, or go buy a short ram. I've heard the comptech Icebox is good, but whatever you get isn't gonna give you that much.
Headers - DC 4-2-1 for mid range power or 4-1 for high end will do you justice. You can always go all out and get some Toda's. I've found the best way to find answers that you're looking for is to use the search function on this website. LOADs of info.
If you really want you can get your Throttle body bored and keep your Y8 intake mani. Spend the money on a good high flow catalytic converter and you'll have a nice air flow setup. But just do I/H/E first... last thing you want to do is buy parts that you'll end up replacing later.
Research your *** off. I/H/E will not give you 40hp to the wheels... no matter how many times they say that it will in 2 Fast 2 Furious.
Take your time and decide where to go from there.
Edit: Love my spelling
