Default Head and longblock...

Just a quick question what exactly is included in the longblock. And if you had a head and longblock does that just make a complete engine?

Going by what somebody told me a while back, and I haven't heard diff. since...The LONG block is the head AND the block...The SHORT block is just the block(no head included). So yes in other words the Long Block would be a complete engine

Oh I think I get it. I was thinking a long block wasnt a complete motor cuz on the sites w/ motors for sale they say longblock only but that just means no tranny and wiring harness and all that right?

No tranny, no axles, no wiring harness, no distributor, no intake manifold, no fuel injectors/rail/reg., no tb, etc... ; It is not a complete motor.
